I just wanted to let everyone know of a new virus that can be picked up anywhere and can even be transferred to portable devices like iPods. Once you plug those devices into any computer the virus can be transfered to any computer. It has effected millions of computers even some inside corporations. Microsoft has issued a patch that will nullify the effect. Please see this link for the article and the patch name! You can search www.microsoft.com for the patch.
Please be careful as always and make sure you have up to date antivirus software that updates daily and scans daily otherwise it is useless. Also make sure you run a manual scan. That means go in yourself frequently and start a can because the daily scans dont scan everything.
