Wow I Cant Believe You Said That

I took my kids for a much needed outing to the park today.  It was sunny and warm which was great so we made it out.  We were there and I was pushing my kids on the swing and another kid came to swing also.  Both my kids looked longingly to the other kids and I knew they wanted to play.  The other kid just didnt want to play and just wanted to swing.  At which point my son says "look at him, he is my boyfriend".  Well I think he meant he is a boy and his friend but it just shocked me and the kid I think.  Isnt it interesting that kids think anyone, even people they havent meant before are their friend.
