What We Did Instead

Well we got there too late to see the sea elephants and sea lions. They take the last group out at approximately 2:30 and we didnt get there till after that. So we will try and make it next week and get some pictures of that. Other than that we stopped at a lighthouse on the way back as well as another beach to see if we could see some tidal pools.

The lighthouse has been there quite a while and is closed and is really rusty. I guess they are awaiting some money or fundraising in order to rennovate it. There was a walk around deck they had there and it proved to be a nice place for pictures with big waves crashing over rocks. Salty fresh sea air and breeze it was wonderful.

When we got to the beach the tide seemed to have just gone out. I did manage to get some small and very odd shaped pieces of wood that now look like driftwood but might not really be. We found some interesting shells as well. Im still awaiting my sand dollar and I havent seen a whale yet but that is what Im going for still.
