Trip to Mars

With the recent pictures from Mars and the exploration there to prepare for Human Landing I have decided to put on the pictures of my kids and Katlin when we went to Hansen Planetarium. They have a moon and Mars exhibity that makes it look like you are actually on the planet.


There are actual rocks set in cement that is red like the planet itself. The exhibit tells about it and even the background is true to pictures that were taken by the machines sent up there.




The moon exhibit is much the same. The background even has the Apollo luna module shown in it. The exhibit is even complete with the same exact footprint the first people that landed their made with their boots.

Loved the Planetarium and would recommend it to everyone. You can even go there saturday nights and try out a telescope before you buy one and see the stars! That would be awesome!
