Wondering Why?

Sometimes we take a look at our lives and say what happened or what is this happening. We concentrate so much on our daily lives, we even say it in our prayers personal and in public "to take this into our daily lives".
I myself find my self wondering why do I have this trial or how things turned out this way. We look at what we want and see we dont have it and wonder. But after I read the message from the First Presidency I realized what I was missing. Here is just a piece of it from President Hinkley.
Read It
"We know not all that lies ahead of us. We live in a world of uncertainty. For some, there will be great accomplishment. For others, disappointment. For some, much of rejoicing and gladness, good health, and gracious living. For others, perhaps sickness and a measure of sorrow. We do not know. But one thing we do know. Like the Polar Star in the heavens, regardless of what the future holds, there stands the Redeemer of the world, the Son of God, certain and sure as the anchor of our immortal lives. He is the rock of our salvation, our strength, our comfort, the very focus of our faith.
In sunshine and in shadow we look to Him, and He is there to assure and smile upon us." Gordon B. Hinckley, “We Testify of Jesus Christ,” Liahona, Mar 2008, 4–7

Here the the prophet says not all of us will have the best of experiences or circumstances but regarless there is the Savior! We are to look at him and not what we do or do not have. It is so common place to have the Savior in our lives it seems but do we look to him as much as we should. If we do then we will realize that it isnt as common to look to him as it is to have him there. He is always there, but are we always looking to him. Despite what is happening He will smile upon us as President Hinkley says. We can see that He does smile on us if we do what i wrote last post, look for the blessings, big and small, that he gives us and are righteous.
