Nature and our Duty

Well for me we live on this earth and it is our job to take care of it. Just by our living and growing we are impacting the environment, animals and air quality. So we can do our job by helping to conserve power, reduce pollutions and reduce our impact on animals of all kinds. I have read recently that whaling is on the rise again and that every year for 6 months it is legal in Japan to slaughter dolphins at will with no limit or regard for life.

You can go to the wildlife link on the right and sponsor an animal for a small fee. It is kind of like doing it for Save the Children as well you get photos and things like that.

Also you can go to the Arbor Day Foundations' website and get trees. You can buy a year membership for 10 bucks and get 10 free 1-4' trees. They are guarenteed to grow and they give you instructions on how to plant, prune and trim. Also you can get trees with the shipping costs that dont cost as much as Wal-Mart or Home Depot.

Support some great causes and learn about Nature at the same time. Both of these charities also send you a newsletter about their topics as well so it is fun for the kids too.
