Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Week February 7-14th 2008 with valentines day as the highlight. I know that in 2005 the State of Utah, Governor Huntsman signed this week into proclamation.
My aunt is part of Intermountain Healing Hearts who does a lot of things at PCMC (Primary Childrens) and in the community. They help support parents and patients and raise awareness. Visit their site here. It is a great thing they do!

Visit their site here. It is a great thing they do!As many of you know my own mother has a congenital defect on one of her heart values that she had to have replaced. It also caused the aorta artery to balloon out and had to have that replaced as well. Wtih pacemaker and surgury she is still me great mom.
These defects are real and effect chidren to the elderly. So use your hearts this week not just for your loved one but maybe someone elses loved one who's heart isnt as strong!
