Christmas: Part 1

The holidays were spent by first driving back home. We spent 5 hours in Donner Pass with 3 kids 7 and under. We made the 12.5 hour journey in 18 hours due to icy roads.

But we made it and it was so fun to be with family! We had games, food, some snow.

I got a couple of presents that were great this year but I want to share one. My mom got me a used handkerchief. It is from my grandpa who recently passed. He always had one with him, even in good health it seems. So I carry it in my pocket wherever I go. I understand there wasn't enough handkerchiefs to go to all the grand kids so I am grateful and honore to tears! I will cherish it forever!
