Im not gonna lecture and rant about the greed, insensitivity, rudeness or commercialism of the holidays and insanity of the deals. Folks, the #1 concern during Black Friday should be safety. These possessions you camp out for, clobber for and dont stay calm for are only temporary. Chances are in 1 year (or less with kids) the thing you are getting is out of date, out of size, out of control or out of order!
Your #1 concern should be the safety of your loved ones and yourself. I drove through a parking lot shared by Best Buy and Wal-Mart on Thanksgiving just before 8pm. It was a mad house. Police officers and security cops were directing traffic and weren't being obeyed. People were driving over safety/construction cones. Cars going every which way, people cutting others off nearly causing accidents swiping other cars.
Folks, no deal no amount of money saved will make up for the damage to vehicle or person. You will spend more in the auto shop then you will save in your entire day most likely...unless you are my friend Rachel H or an extreme couponer.
What was more concerning to me is I saw 3 cars with multiple children, young children that I would bet were under 8 in them....ALL ALONE!
Folks, no deal no amount of money saved will make up for the loss of your child or harm to your child! Take care of them.
