Saturday at Pt Defiance

Along with some family members we made it out to Point Defiance Zoo over the 4th of July weekend.  It was very warm and there were tons of people but it was a good time.  Here are some of our pictures from our visit.  We stopped at the hands on exhibit with the touch pools of starfish and other things.  Here is J'lee and cousing China J looking at shark teeth ohhaha!
Baby J at the touch pool with a lot of starfish!  He was a chicken though and didnt want to touch them.  Not quite sure why he usually loves to do that.
I always knew she was a little _____ (fill in the blank).  Just kidding she is one fantastic kid it just seems funny with this picture.
This is my 4th visit to Point Defiance and the third time with the Seahorse Exhibit and all three times it was closed except 1 tank.  This is the best I could do with the glass between us.

The baby wasnt entertained at all for a while.  He resorted to poking himself in the eyes he was so bored!  Actually he was sucking his thumb too but you cant really see it cus the rest of his fingers are blocking it.
It is pretty intimidating to look through a small spyglass of a camera and see this coming at you even if there is 4 feet of glass between you.
these sharks were having a sleep over and Baby J wanted to crash the party!
Cute kids walking in a line together.  They all had fun.  (the girl in the front was China J's friend)
 oohhh fast!  So very fast!
Cute little beaver comin out of the pool
Now that is awrd....awrdvark that is.  He sure does love his ants...guess that makes him a family man?
Oooh look up there.  An eagle swooped so low to the crowd and perched up in the corner but the bird didnt make the picture.  The second swoop also left me with a claw impression on the back of my head.
aww cute!  Me and my boy...who started to fuss and then blew out his diaper all stinky!  Thanks babes!
This guy always is in sticky situations and comes right to the point about them too!
YUM!  Kettle Corn at the zoo!  Eat and say hi to the camera!
