Tulips Tulips Tulips

I really enjoy flowers and their smells and colors.  So naturally I have been itching at the chance to go up to the Skagit County Tulip Festival in Mount Vernon, Washington.  We finally got to go on the way home from Birch Bay.  It was quite nice!  There are fields full of tulips and daffodils.  It is quite a site to see.  I wish I was more skilled with a camera because most of the pictures I wont share because there was too much sun and it washed out.

We stopped at RozzenGarde farms.  Their parent company is the largest supplier of bulbs in the U.S.  Needless to say they do a lot of business.  By the time we were done with that farm we were just too tired to do more.  We drove around and looked at the rest from the car.  Here are some shots from the tulip and daffodils farm though.

Our favorite kind of tulip (above) and second favorite (below)
My boy and I playin in the tulips!

My wonderful wife took this shot it looks like the tulip is on fire.  I really like it.
This one is unedited (below)

Found this half red half yellow in a sea of yellow tulips.  Found it interesting and thanks to my long lens I was able to capture more detail of it.
