First Day in California Adventure

Our second day at Disneyland/California Adventure and we spent it in California Adventure.  It is always the best to go to the parks on Tuesday and Wednesday because the lines are shorter and there are less people there.

First off, it is all weird because they are redoing the "main street" down this park so it was all closed off.  You have to wind all the way close to where the River ride is (failing to remember the name now) and then wind your way back to get to the Back Lot area.

There will be more pictures to come these are just shots from my cell phone and are uneditied.  Started out by Monster's Inc stuff and got to meet Chip and Dale and saw Sully and Mike in a "parade" of sorts.  J'alee got to hug the 2319 guy who got shaved down int he movie.  Those pictures are on my big camera so more to come on that.  We did Soarin Over California several times with fast passes and K and KT did Screamin California several times with fast passes.  I consented to finally do the ferris wheel with Baby J.  You all might think that is lame but for this old geezer who is afraid of heights, fast speeds and things that arent really inclosed that is a big thing for me.  It was actually a nice time.  I was still nerverous and didnt take any shots while up there though.

I actually did Goofy's Flight School three times which is the second roller coaster I have gone on and the only one I have done more than once.  It was afraid for sure and K said to me "you sound like Goofy" while I am on it.  It is probably true.  Thats about my max for rollercoasters.  Sorry kids!

J'alee went with KT and K on Tower of Terror and she didnt like that so she came back to Bugs Land and join us.  Here are a few shots of me and Baby J and then J'alee joining us later

Threw this picture in because this is how we start our days (below)....read on tomorrow to see how we end our days...
We did get to see World of Color and my word that is a FANTASTIC show!  It is amazing to see how they can put images onto the water like that.  Obviously the part about Pirates was my favorite it had fire water lights and images.  I am so glad that we got to see that.  There was even a special bit at the front from Prep and Landing for Christmas.  If you go to Disneyland you HAVE to stop and see World of Color!
