There is a quote from a movie I really like "your mind is a dangerous place you shouldnt enter alone" (Just Like Heaven). So for me since Im basically mixed nuts introspection, contemplation on the past year and the coming year and everything in between is dangerous and I am entering it alone. I do feel however feel I am coming out and wont get stuck in a grid of games...though coming out with an awesome motorcycle would be awesome!
So here are only 3 goals I want to set. These mostly I will be able to gage weekly or monthy so I can adjust for my progress appropriately.
GOODBYE TV...well large amounts of tv. Im hoping to stick to only 2 shows each week. This probably will be Extreme Homemake Over and Psych. Since Psych is off for the season I dont have much to replace it with so that gets me ahead right there! This is gonna be hard for me.
HELLO Chore Chart....again! This is just gonna be a resurrection of the chore chart for the kids so we can grow together with organization and stability.
ENCORE Reading. I also want to try and read at least 10 books this year and yes I will count audiobooks since I dont get a lot of time to read. This reading will also include regular scripture study and one conference talk each night. This is mostly to be an example to my family so my kids will want to read!

Those are all great and worthy goals! The TV one would be really tough for me! Not that we watch OOOOOODLES of tv, but we definitely have a show a night... :)
Great goals! I don't make resolutions because i always end up beating myself up when i fail... because i seem to always fail at them! :)
i like the book one! :)
I love your resolutions. I think I should have the same ones. The first one is easy right now because I only watch Extreme makeover and Castle. But . . . . I might watch Amnerican Idol and Paula Abdul's new dance show. I dunno. We definitely need a chore chart at our house and I like the reading goal. I have a reading goal too. I'm adding a temple goal. You chose good goals.
What awesome goals! If you need any recommendations for books, just let me know. I read all the time - can't stop!! :)
