I dont want to see weeds again

You know that space between your sidewalk and the road that most people have all grass or some landscape. Well we havent ever done anything with that on our house just kept weedeating the weeds so it looked somewhat green. We had K's dad come and mulch it but with the busy life that creeps up the weeds got so tall.
As of August 1st we were suppose to have that landscaped or get a ticket so we thought it was high time to do something with it. so we pulled the weeds, dug up 3 inches of dirt the whole way down and dumped the dirt and then put weed blocker stuff down and then put wood chips down. We are tired, worn out and sore now but we are glad it is done!
