The Hoax and The Zodiac

I watched these two shows last night and here is a run down.
The Hoax - had some good acting in it (althought not Oscar worthy). Richard Gere plays the write who wrote about a famous Billionaire in the 70's. There are ties to the Nixon scandal in here as well. As the story goes it is all fake and he gets into trouble. The cast is good. Alfred Molina (Doc Oc in Spiderman 2) plays well in this movie and Gere's friend and co-consipirator. Marcia Gay Harden (from lots of movies) does well as Gere's wife.

The Zodiac - It was a pretty good movie. Not out right scary and not out right ridiculous scary killer movie. It is about the Zodiac killer who stalked the streets and area around San Francisico. Philip Baker Hall (Police Commissioner in Ghostbusters II) plays another police chief. Justin Chambers (intern doc from Gray's Anatomy) is the cop with a young family who is leading the investigation. Rory Culkin (brother to Maulkulie Culkin) plays Chambers son who actually finds out the killers secret early. This one has suspense and a bit of a thrill. It is refreshing on the take of so many other horror movies of mass killing and blood shed. It is somewhat educational about the history of the killings as well.
