Phone that Change THE PHONE

It is no secret that the iPhone did change everything.  It was one of the best selling phones ever (both models).  Well now we have a new phone to change everything.  This one comes to us from Motorola.  Yes, the Motorola Atrix.  Here it is in basic terms.  It is a Droid X times 2.25 and is availabe only with AT&T.
What makes this phone great.  It is 4.3 inch screen and it is HD as well.  Yes this will hook to a docking station for all your special high techy needs.  But here is the kicker.  It is a dual core processor.  Yes thats right you heard me tech geeks.  2 processor chips in it which makes it THE fastest phone to date.  It will allow you to run 2 high consuming programs at the same time.  Since it has 2 processors it is so much like a little computer you wont need a tablet.  Why do I say that?  Because you can by this for $199 and then you can get a laptop that it will hook to for $299.  Then you have yourself a better version of samsung galaxy tablet and do I dare say iPad?  I think I dare say it.

So there you go folks.  I told you that getting the iPhone4 on Verizon was silly.  This is double the power and just as good of screen and voice quality and it is a higher category device so it will get even better download speeds than the iphone4.  It does operate on the HSPA+ (3.5G which is 4G speeds) so you can get up to 7.2mbps or more at THE most optimal conditions.

Me wants it!

You keep saying that buying the iPhone 4 with Verizon is silly. I fail to see your logic. Lets assume that very few people are going to change their network for the simple of a phone. With the lone exception of the iPhone, this really hasn't happened much. So now that there is no network switching going on, let's look at Verizon.

There is always the promise of a new Android based device literally days away. This is one of the blessings, and curses of the Android platform. While they have expanded quickly and offer their OS on a number of different devices of different quality, this same expansion has hurt them. True it has opened the Android market to a wide range of consumers, but because there are so many differences between each Android phone many apps do not work on specific models. It is impossible for retailers to provide an app that look the same on 100 different phones with varying size, resolution, processor speed, and overall usability.

As far as the iPhone goes, there is much speculation as to whether or not a new iPhone will come out this year. They have been on a one year product cycle but who knows.

The fact is that if you are a Verizon customer, and you want to buy the most current iPhone available (on any network) then it is available. Using the argument that there is another phone almost out or just out to keep someone from buying a phone is ludacris. The ONLY argument against it would be to wait until the new iPhone came out so that they could get an iPhone 4 at a reduced price.

Yes there is always a better phone coming soon. There will always be a better phone from apple coming soon too.

The point is there are phones out there now better than the iphone to get regardless of carrier. If you were on 3GS I would say upgrade to the Atrix instead of iphone4 (both on AT&T) carrier/network has nothing to do with it in this case.
