Truth in the Eye of the Beholder?

I was listening to a talk from a lady that I really enjoyed. She mentioned that she was reading on the Internet about what people think truth was to them. Some said that it was whatever is true to you in your life and the way you live it. Some even went as far as to say that there is no right or wrong except how you choose to live your life.

I really find this as perplexing. The fact that they are a live is a truth. It is a truth no matter how they choose to live. There are things are true no matter how people live so their very definition is wrong and they have no logical base for their arguement.

There is a right or wrong and there are truths. Science, math, economics, psychology and even healthcare all work under the assumption of basic things that are true to everyone no matter how they live. Why should our personal lives be any different? They arent!

People feel the need to blur the lines of truth and even right and wrong today in an effort to eliminate themselves of personal responsibility for their actions! Sure follow your heart but follow that in accordance with the universal truths.
