On May 14th HP issued a recall for HP and Compaq laptop batteries for specific models. Here is a link to find out which ones and it should also give you a number to call to get a new free battery. The only thing this link addresses is the battery. For any other issues see www.hp.com and click on support.
As always please update your computer by going to the makers website and updating it. Many computers have a feature for it to scan to update it. Windows will do this for you also. Please keep it updated so you dont have issues with upgrades of anything else later. Also keeping these udpated keeps your security higher as well!
