We will soon be on the road again. They decided not to renew the contract here in San Jose I guess so we will be moving on to something else unless we find something in the area. The economy has hit travel nursing as well. There are very few positions and they all are for lower pay now as well. Most positions are posted and within an hour or even minutes they are filled. So there is a lot of competition, something that hasnt been experience with nursing in a long time!
We did see an opening that we quickly applied for this morning but we havent heard anything back yet so hopefully tomorrow will be the day for that and we can quit worrying about having a job in 2 weeks.
