This is also a book being made to a movie as well. This is not animated but it is an forgien film so my hopes arent as high for this one. It does feature actors in their characters as:

I am looking forward to this one since I have always wanted to read the book and have not been able to get to it on my list yet.
For the rest of the year and for the first part of 2009 there seems to be a plethera of wonderful movies that are being released! After the last two years of only going to the threatre 4 times in 2 years im hoping to save up money and go more frequently. Dont forget Harry Potter: Half Blood Prince is suppose to come out in 2009 as well (after being pushed back).

I have read both of those book and they are excellent! Highly recommend them! Also they are remaking The Day the Earth Stood Still. It looks intriguing
