Go Green??? or is this overboard

So it is a great thing that we are more concerned about the way that we are treating the environment. After all God told Adam and Eve that they were to keep the garden and take care of it. I feel we have the same charge as his children on the earth that he created.

Some good progress has been made. I would like to put a plug into the following causes: save Fiji waters, endangered species, sea turtles, polar bears, king penguins, tigers, elephants, cheetahs etc.

So when I read this story i was flabergasted (if that is even a word). Swedish researchers at the U of Sweden were granted a $590,000 to research the greenhouse effects of the gases release by cow burps. Thats right cow burps.

Im all for the cause, Go Green but when it comes to this silly research let's send the money somewhere else please. I mean honestly if you insist on studying burps then why not study human burps and greenhouse effects there are certainly more humans and they probably burp more with all the pop, beer and other things that are ingested.

Please people let us be wise in the way we "Go Green" and how we study and use precious research money.
