America the Beautiful
My Country Tis of Thee
There is music with these as well. So read the words and feel the meaning behind them and you will get a deeper sense of appreciation for the founding fathers, pilgrams and those who came to this country fought and died to protect our liberty!
We sang America the Beautiful in church today and I thought of the founding fathers and the condition of the country then and today and during September 11th. I was quite an experience for me I dont think I will forget!
You can also watching this video put out by students at BYU a few years ago. Okay it was more than a few years ago but it protrays the Continential Congress quite well and gives you a lot of history and ultimately a better idea of the struggle, urgency and meaning of our independence and Constitution!
