Well Tuesday the 19th we went down to the Manti Pageant. It was a hot afternoon but by the time it started it was a very pleasant warm evening. If you have never been there they set out chairs on the temple lawn and then leave a place for a blanket area for people to come. Then it is a narrated play about the coming forth of the Book of Mormon and a little about Joseph Smith and the Pioneers.Manti is such a hole in the wall town but it has grown quite a bit from the last time we were there two years a go. We drove through Fountain Green where some of my dad's family were born and lived for a while. Emphriam and Moroni are both small towns as well but pleasant.
If you get a chance go down to it next year it is a good experience to just watch a play about the coming forth of the gospel while having the temple in the background light up. Another benefit is the wards down there do a fundraiser of providing a turkey dinner at the ward buildings you can find all along main street. It is pretty good food too and goes to the Young Men and Women's budgets!
