For the most part we are a very close and happy family. We usually help each other out and make good choices. I think most people would say that my kids are great. That's what I hope for. We are especially happy when we go out and do things together. My favorite place might just be the beach.
Now there is the matter of living at home. There are a few issues that we are currently working through. First of all is never keeping anything clean, put back where it belongs or even in any possible form of good repair. There is probably a block stuck in my toilet making it so we cant flush it very well, and just about everything anyone touches seems to break in some what. The drawers to our dressers, bed frame from jumping on it, etc. The biggest issue never keeping something clean for more than a few minutes.
I cant even seem to keep enough clothes clean to have enough to wear for the week. They are either wet, messy, peed on, leaked through, the brunt of a food fight or getting the worst of a hole in the lip! Thanks to our wonderful system of power regulation we are charged 3x as much to use any power before 6pm. Thus I try to do laundry late at night. So it never gets done or this happens.
Second is the genuine attitude when it comes to being night to each other at home. We are night to each other everywhere else. I get a good 5 minutes or less of nice behavior between siblings before...
I really think that this is going to be my last solution to the problem.
With all the things to do at home, work and school, this is how I feel lately. I really dont like feeling this way but alas thats how it is.
If I am luck it just be able to do this!

I hear you on the "clothes are wet or peed on." I swear that I'm washing sheets every other day, plus the Jammie and underwear, plus blankets. even pull ups and the good-nights leak. I even cut off liquids 2 hours before bed time. We will be great for a month, and then a month of total loss of late night bladder control. that's crazy bout the <6pm energy issue. WHAT?!
I made the whole family clean on saturday morning, and the place was in shreds that night. I try to wipe everything down once a day with a bleach/water solution and then tell myself that it's "cluttered" but deep down it's clean...deep deep deep down under all the shoes, toys, and random abandoned snack items
