Odd Places to Fall Asleep

Many of yo know that it is difficult to be a parent.  With all the things we have going on and multiple kids there just isnt enough time in the day.  A lot of times you find yourself only sleeping a few hours each night and sometimes not sleeping for 48 hours or more...or maybe I am alone in this.

I personally love sleep!  I could sleep virtually anywhere and espeically within the last few years.  I have not wanted to wake up again and I even turn fun things down in order to sleep.

Sometimes it just gets the better of you.  Monday was one of those mornings you just didnt want to get up.  The baby started crying so you have to wake up pat his belly till he sleeps again.  Then child 2 comes in and falls asleep with his head at your feet.  Yep he is a wild sleeper and ends up kicking me in the face multiple times so I couldnt sleep.  Then I hear banging sounds and after I was paranoid for a few minutes and grabbed something heavy to hit with, I looked in the bathroom and the dog was playing with the toy boats in the tub.  then back to bed where the baby is stirrng again so I have to pat his belly till he is alseep.  Oh and then would you look at that....time to get up.

So I went to work very tired and irritated with the events of the night.  Mondays definately are like Office Space.  So I must confess that I did fall asleep at work.  Only I fell asleep in a very VERY unusual place.  Apologies in advance to my mom who mignt want me to tell you this but I think it is funny and by no means am I embarrassed by it.

Yes that is right.  I fell asleep on the toilet.  (just an image I found online this isnt the exact toilet).  I woke up and didnt realize how long I was there for either so it was sort of crazy.  After washing my hands I looked at the time on my phone and it was only a couple of minutes.  But it is true I feel asleep there.
