Im Amazed, So Soon!

Well I have been hoping and honestly perhaps obsessing a little for a job with one of the big wireless telcos (telephone companies) such as Verizon, AT&T and I get my wish it appears.  After several interviews at which I thought I did well I stewed with anticipation all weekend wondering what would happen.  It is like sitting around while you know 4 people and deliberating what could possibly determine your future.

So all there was to do was wander to the computer and obsess about looking up stuff about Redmond, Washington just to walk away and say chill down and try to distract myself.  Only to come back an hour later and do the same routine all over again.  The whole weekend this was pretty much the case.  So the kids watched entirely too much tv and movies and I spent entirely too much time on this little machine.

But Im happy to say that the managers there called and said that I impressed them and that they are "unofficially" offering the position to me.  Basically they have told human resources that they want me and then they go through compensation/accounting to approve the money to pay me clear me through background and all that HR boring stuff and then they will call to offer it to me.   They did say they dont know how long that will take.  If it is like the jobs here my neighbor has been waiting 8 months.  So we hope that isnt the case.

But here it is a job with AT&T Quality Associate Manager of Mobility.  Basically what I will be doing is working with internal AT&T users to get their U-Verse tv to stream on AT&T Wireless phones.  So that means if you have att tv and att cell phone (smart phone) you will in the future sometime be able to watch it on your phone all made possible by me...and many others of course :)

So there you have it.  Redmond, Washington which is around 10-15 minutes northeast of Seattle will be our residing place.  AT&T will be the employer and here is for hoping I get to have one of these to play with
