Fall Gardening

It is fall time is here and the desire to garden is strong again. Well even though tomatoes are on the outs, blubs are in. I have heard many tips on bulbs but the best time to plant a dormant bulb is the fall (sept-dec). Then when they come up you will enjoy the benefits in spring!

So I am determined to plant me some bulbs this fall so the spring and summer when I about to finish school I can reap the benefits. Here is a flower from the lily family. It has now become one of my favorites and Im gonna get my hands on these asap!
Beautiful flower with a very very very odd name. It is called Dichelostemma capitatum or Blue Dick. Yes that is right that is the name! Anyway imagine these with some orange California Poppys!
