Busy Days

So after being up till 4am trying to get things done and trying to study (which didn't really get much attention) I find myself barely ahead and tired. The kiddos got up at 8:30am and it is a full day of activities.
As we were at the library today for story time I sat there with my kids watching, listening and having fun. I found myself reflecting on what it is like for stay at home mom's. Since things are a little bass ackwards in my family my wife is working currently. She tells me all the time she would rather be home and I agree that I would rather work but a tiny piece inside me enjoys the funny, fun, frustrating, frantic, times and many more with my kids. I can see why stay at home moms love it.
Props to all the working mothers out there who all would probably rather be home but due to circumstances cannot be. It is a tough world to get by in and it is hard to stay at home now it seems. We all do the best we can!
So thanks to my wife for the sacrifice and my apologies that things aren't different currently. Thanks to my kids for putting up with me, because in the end I'm more frantic and frustrating then they are. They just are fun and funny.
For example today I gave J'alee a big huge really tight and told her I loved her. Then started to walk away just to be nearly knocked over as she ran right into my leg and said I'm gonna squeeze your leg with a tight huh. I pretended it hurt to be silly and she says "say oh my tenders". Apparently she has seen Kung Fu Panda to much. So we had a little talk about saying things like that.
Even now as I'm typing this and visiting blogs for a break from work J'alee is in the closet pretending she is trapt yelling at Baby J saying "Edward, can you please get me out"
Good times!
